It's STILL Pink

The Race for the cure was a rousing success, except for the minor let-down that none of us managed to cure breast cancer this morning. But, this was early in the morning and there's always next year!

Truth be told, the numbers today were awesome. We heard that there was a 70% increase in attendance. Rumors also got around that there were so many people, next year's event may be moved to a new location. I think the size of this crowd was nearly overwhelming for the event staff. At least there was no alcohol involved!

The day started off with a great announcement for our group: we were the largest first-year team! We had something like 75-100 people. I wasn't counting, so I don't know which number is correct. The largest team was the one from Northwestern Mutual Life, somewhere around 600 strong. I say we give them a run for their money next year.

I actually managed to get the nod on the pink safety glasses! Of course, there are photos galore. Here are some of my favorites (so far).
