    Who is This Dude?

I'm hoping that many people who don't know me will eventually find my blog. If you are one of those people, here's a little bit about me.

I have a degree in electrical engineering, and I currently work in automation and controls. I spend much of my work day programming PLCs, fancy little computer devices that are used for equipment control. It might sound boring, but I LOVE it! There's nothing like the thrill of beating a machine into submission.

I decided to take up blogging because it's a cheap hobby. I also like to share my opinions with people, ask anyone who knows me! I'm excited about blogging because people respond to your opinions. I like the interaction, and I enjoy getting a second opinion. I encourage you to comment as often as possible!

I'm somewhat of a news junky, I love trivia, and I'm a total geek. I hope that all of these things come together to build a blog that spans a wide variety of topics. Use the email address in my profile if you'd like to make suggestions. Don't worry if I don't reply right away. The response may be slow, because I've used my junkmail account to control the flow into my inbox.

There's plenty more info about me in my profile, of course!

Why is the Blog called "subject to change?" I tend to speak from my gut (or my rear end, as the case may be). So, a lot of times the things that spurt out don't accurately represent my opinion. In fact, even when my comments are well thought out, they're usually dripping with sarcasm. That makes it difficult to really nail down the intent of my remarks. With this in mind, I reserve the right to restate my opinion over and over until I agree with it. :)
