    I Am Not a Scrooge!

I'm not sure if I'm going to decorate the house this year. To be honest with you, I've never really decorated in the past, either. It's not that I hate the season. I love the snow, the lights, the smells, everything except holday shopping! I think the problem is that I like it too much.

I can't stand pathetic holiday displays. I've never taken pride in doing anything half-assed (
except my homework). So, I don't tend to start projects that I know will be a disaster unless I have to. Since decorating for the holidays is a luxury, I want to make sure that my display will be worthwhile.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Are you decorating for Thanksgiving or for Christmas. Dan believes we have lots of time to put everything out. Well I think he forgets how much stuff his wife has. Lets just say, it's Boxes, not one or two but boxes and boxes and boxes of ornaments, alot of black and white panda ornaments and other furry creaters that go on the tree, and its not a small tree it's 8ft tall. Then we can not forget about the endless battle of lights. Dan's goal is to beat last years record and not fry the 20 amp outlet. A couple of years ago 2500 lights on the tree, I think he was looking into inductive load compensations to reduce the current. What ever that is, as long as we don't burn down the house. Its all good with me. We have so many lights on the tree it glows. Always out to help Santa find my house.
    Happy Decorating,
Jeff & Jess looked pretty done on Friday. Who will be next? Definately not me!!

We bought the lights and put up a tree. I'll be blogging it later because it's a total geek tree.
