Blog of Interest #1
While I was snooping all of your blogs I discovered tons of good material. I've decided to make a point of seeking out a blog to share with you every week or so.
For the first S2C Blog of Interest, I went to I AM THE FORCE: Politics, Geeks, Entertainment and You. Ragnar discusses the things you don't want to consider as blogger, because the answers are too depressing:
Who's reading this stuff? Does anyone care?
What makes my opinions so important?
Are my views any different or better than the rest of the blogosphere?
Why do I always find myself turning to politics?
Here's an excerpt:
Charlie Sykes makes it interesting and entertaining. Rush used to make it interesting and entertaining. But it's hard for the rest of us. I guess I've decided to take up the challenge because I've come to the conclusion that it's better to be in than out of the conversation. I hate the dogma, the righteousness, the buffoons, and often the results. But leaving public policy to the politicians is really the cowards way out. I hope I can stick it out.
