    Blog of Interest #3

There are some people who start a blog in order to make a statement. "I Hate Henry"isn't exactly the kind of statement that most bloggers are trying to make. It sure is funny, though.

I found this blog while I was looking around to see if there are any other West Allis bloggers. It seems that Lisa and I are the only ones around here who take our blogging seriously.

I can't beleive the color of Julia Roberts hair. I really wonder how she gets that wonderful effect. I have tried many times to duplicate it but just get frustrated after hours that I cant. Now I find out that my hair is stressed. So, I thought some of you might want to know a little more about hair coloring so this does not happen to you.

It may sound a bit odd but your hair is a mixture of 3 colors; red yellow, and blue. These are the primary colors. Secondary colors are orange, green, and violet. If you look at the "wheel" a color opposite (directly across) will "negate" that color. This means if your hair is a orange color - blue will make it a brown/black color. If you hair has a yellow tone, violet will cancel it out.
One of the most important elements of haircoloring is determining the hairs' "underlying pigmet" (the hairs' natural color.) When you chose a color in a swatch book, your hair may not come out that color because of the underlying pigment in your hair.

Take care everyone and Happy Holidays everyone.
