    Bloggers Don't Kill People

Have you seen the garbage that's being written about the two teenage bloggers on MySpace who disappeared after a double murder of the girl's parents? The MSM is touting the teen's blogs as a window into their psyche. All that anyone could gather from what the teens wrote is that Kara lied about her age (SHOCKING!!!) and David liked to hunt (he must be a killer). The most damning things that could be found on either teen's blog were images of David gutting a deer. Heaven forbid, he should be proud of his first hunting successes!

Would Kara's parents have talked to their daughter earlier if they'd known she was representing herself online as a 17-year-old who likes to party? Would they have been more aware of David's capacity for violence if they had seen the pictures on his blog?

The blogs didn't really become controversial until after the story broke. Once the blogs became public knowledge, all the internet's weirdos showed up to voice their opinions. Comments started to appear on the blogs, some in favor of the teen's actions and many that were just plain loony. These comments are being treated as if they were written by the teens themselves, or close friends that they associated with.

You have to read this wild attempt by the media to hang the blogosphere.
