I had to post an image of our Christmas tree, so that I could talk about what a geek I am.
Check it out: Fiber optic and LED lighting! We even bought LED lights to string around the windows. The really strange part is that the LED lights strobe at 60Hz. If you swing them around in a circle really fast you can see it. I wanted to hang circuit boards on the tree, but that idea got a thumbs-down from the other half of the decorating committee.

I think you should explain to the crowd why the LED lights strobe.
Are all of the lamps set up with the same polarity, or are they randomly strung?
I gotta get me some of them there Light Emitting Diode Christmas lights.

Yes. They're BRIGHT!
And the strobe can drive you batty when you walk past, because they're all on the same polarity. I wonder if I could flip a few around. Or, maybe I should get a 125VDC power supply. :)
