What is This? It's Not Really SPAM?

Have you seen the recent comments on this blog, by Ruth Ann? I've been trying to decide whether I should treat them as SPAM and delete them. The problem is, they don't contain any links to other blogs or web sites and don't promote any services. So they don't really qualify as SPAM. They're just WAY off topic. See for yourself:

I can't beleive the color of Julia Roberts hair. I really wonder how she gets that wonderful effect. I have tried many times to duplicate it but just get frustrated after hours that I cant. Now I find out that my hair is stressed. So, I thought some of you might want to know a little more about hair coloring so this does not happen to you.

It may sound a bit odd but your hair is a mixture of 3 colors; red yellow, and blue. These are the primary colors. Secondary colors are orange, green, and violet. If you look at the "wheel" a color opposite (directly across) will "negate" that color. This means if your hair is a orange color - blue will make it a brown/black color. If you hair has a yellow tone, violet will cancel it out.
One of the most important elements of haircoloring is determining the hairs' "underlying pigmet" (the hairs' natural color.) When you chose a color in a swatch book, your hair may not come out that color because of the underlying pigment in your hair.

Take care everyone and Happy Holidays everyone.
    Ruth

Ruth has been here twice now, with the same message. I haven't been removing it because she comments on old posts, anyway. Is she infected with a virus that makes her computer want to share its opinions on Julia Roberts?*

What do you think I should do with Ruth?**

If it adds to your blog value, then keep it. If it makes people think you have more people responding, keep it. If she is the only one responding to any of your topics, keep it. If you don't have any better responses to your topic, keep it.

I can only find reasons to keep her comments. Although it may be entertaining to guess why her OT comments appear on your blog. Sounds like another topic for your blog... It could also depend on the meaning of "OT"...

That is really weird. I don't think it is span because you have word verification on your comments...maybe she is just schizo and relates hair color to whatever you are talking about.

I will forever associate the word "Spam" with Monty Python.
