Would you like to be a guest on the weekly audio blog? We'd love to have you!
Joining the program is easy (in theory). First, you need a microphone. We recommend a microphone/headset combination unit. It keeps the mic at a fixed distance, and keeps sound quality more even. The headsets (Logitech or Plantronics) in the $20-25 range seem to perform just fine. If you have a laptop, you may want to consider a USB headset. This seems to help with electrical noise from the power supply. If you or your kids have a Playstation2, look and see if you've got the headset for SOCOM. It's USB and works really well.
Second, you need to download Skype and create an account. Locate my user account (sub2change) and send me an email with your contact info. I'll get in touch with you, to verify that we can get a good connection.
If everything works out, we'll plan a program around you and set up a date to record. It's that easy! We're looking for all types of people to join us, so don't feel you have to be from this state, this country, or even this planet. We just have to find something interesting to talk about!
Update: No microphone? We've got a phone number now. All you need to do is call us, or give us a phone number to call! If possible, we prefer land lines because they sound better.

If only fictional characters could talk.
You could be the first.
Oh, Aaron, do I bore you that much? :)
I'm starting to think that you're just in my head, too.
apparently the plans you've made with me don't matter anymore *sniffle*
Are we going to pull a Descartes here, and start doubting everything, that you and I exist, that our bodies exist, and that cubes of wax are really melting?
Maybe we're all in your head, Aaron.
Is my invite still good?
Is my invite still good?
Of course. We want to get a line up!

I could be up for this...what do you think about Plantronics as a set? I looked at them at Comp USA...USB and a lot of features for the price.
Just looking for an opinion to get the necessary tech stuff.
Cheers,
