Crackdown on Out of State Wood
Try to read this without laughing. I dare you.
Burning it?
Isn't that what the campers brought it along for in the first place? Who are we making work for, and why can't they be fired? Also, the wood chipper idea seems especially stupid. The wood chipper isn't going to kill the bugs. Then, they'll do what with the wood chips? Use them to mulch ash tree saplings is my guess.
- MADISON, Wis. - The Natural Resources Board approved an emergency rule Wednesday that forces campers at state parks to only use firewood obtained in Wisconsin.
The move - which will only protect about 7 percent of the total campsites in Wisconsin - is designed as another line of defense against the emerald ash borer, a beetle that destroys ash trees and can infest firewood, officials said.
- Under the DNR's firewood rule, state park workers will ask campers when they check in about where they got their firewood. If it came from out-of-state, the workers will confiscate it and destroy it either by burning or stuffing it in a chipper.

Witch? What? Who? You? Never.
After all, if you were a witch wouldn't you have turned Aaron into a newt by now?
Probably. But it's more punishment to let him remain as he is.
