Fred's wife has agreed to blog about a story that she heard on Mark Belling's program today. It's a PDS posting, but don't let that scare you. You need to read it.

A Christian convert returning to Afghanistan to collect his children could be put to death. When the man returned to his parents' home, there was a heated debate and the police were called. He was arrested and charged with an "attack against Islam," possibly because he was carrying a bible at the time. The crime carries the death penalty under the Afghan constitution. Apparently, his parents aren't exactly running to his defense, either.

Mind you, this is the NEW AND IMPROVED Afghanistan, where women can show their faces in public. These people have still got a long way to go.
