    New State Mandate

    I've heard through the grapevine.* That the state of Wisconsin is considering a Subject to Change mandate. Throughout the state every web browser will be required to have this blog as its home page. This new law applies to cellphone and other portable based web browsers, as well as personal computers. It's part of the state's push to promote inferior products and force people to do things they wouldn't normally consider beneficial. Said one state official: **
      The Subject to Change mandate will ensure that people are not overlooking the benefits that blog. Sometimes we have to play the parents and force people to do things that we know to be in their own best interest. It's just like when your parents used to make you eat your broccoli, even though you hated it. Now, you still hate it, but you eat it because you are convinced that it must be good for you.

      Hey! I've got an idea... If we mandate that all concrete sold in this state contain 15% broccoli, it could be really good for everyone's health. Excuse me, I seem to have misplaced my foil hat.
    The Subject to Change mandate is certain to be signed by governor Doyle, because it makes absolutely no sense. You may as well point your browsers to this site now to avoid paying a steep fine.

    * I'm making this up.
    ** I made this up, too.

    I like Broccoli but it makes me gassy so I will substitute the word and use brussel sprouts instead. I willl only use your page if the majority rules on it I am not going to let one loudmouth make the decision for all of us!

    Thank God you put those little asterisks in, otherwise I wouldn't have known. Instead I would have immediately complained to my state representative that this new law was tantamount to cruel and unusual punishment, especially since I haven't even been charged with a crime!*
