Sorry, Charlie!
If you listened to this week's Podcast, you know already that I made some not-so-nice comments toward Charlie Sykes. And, if you were listening carefully you'll notice that I qualified those comments with a big, fat, "IF."
Sykes emailed me this morning and verified that my theory was indeed dead-wrong, thus invoking the IF clause. His decision to pull Belle off his blogroll was entirely self driven. I'm really glad to see that he's changed his mind on that, though. He closed the email by saying, "the only time I ever gave into pressure was when I added your own sorry ass."
I hope this means he's keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing. Just in case, I told him that my dying wish was to have a worthy blog take my place.

Thanks much Aaron... I appreciate everyone's support in the matter. And while I sometimes joke about being left off certain people's blogrolls, or even having certain people ignore my emails regarding CoB advertising, etc... it is mostly joking.
Blogrolls are very personal things, and I don't think that anyone is ever entitled to be on anyone else's. People have them for different reasons, and they express different ideas for different people.
With that said, it's always gratifying to make it onto a new one.
