Casper's Got Plenty on His Mind

Casper is explaining his expected absence from the blogosphere. Hopefully he won't be gone long. The Cheddarsphere already seems to be suffering a minor shake-up.

I feel for you, Casper. On election night in 2000, I came home to spend the evening with my fiance at the time. Instead of watching the polls tally up (one of the strange things I enjoy doing), I spent the first part of the evening playing "Where did all her stuff go? Gosh, there sure is a lot missing."

Casper and Chris credit me with inspiring them to think about the nature of the Wisconsin blogosphere. I'm actually not finished talking about it. I've noticed some things lately that I'd like to shine a light on.

And, to answer Jones: I'm not planning to go anywhere. I'll admit that I foresee the next month or so being difficult for me. It's not about the baby (yet). I've just got a few things scheduled and things are picking up at work. Rest assured, when something does grab my attention you're still going to hear about it!

I've also come to believe that the podcast has legs of its own. I intend to keep my contribution to Wisconsin blogging alive and well.
