Race for the Cure '06
Yesterday was the 8th Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. They estimated that over 8,400 people showed up to walk in support of friends and family with breast cancer. It's amazing to view the sea of people who show up to walk or run. In a crowd that size, I estimate there must've been at least 5,039 breasts. That ought to be reason enough for some of you guys to consider signing up next year, right?
What do 8,400 people fighting breast cancer look like? Something like this:
Many teams invent a clever name. This one was a favorite of mine.
And lastly, here's what Rock'em Sock'em Robots look like fighting breast cancer.
Have I mentioned that I hang out with some strange people?
