Democrats Learn a Valuable Lesson: Don’t Adopt Strays

January 4th, 2007-12:58 pm by sub2change

Cindy Sheehan helped propel the Democrats to victory in November and now she’s silently slipping away into the night.

Ok. I kid. That’s what the democrats expected her to do. Instead, she disrupted a press conference announcing, on their first day in power, the party’s domestic agenda. Democrats are learning that when you feed a wild animal it comes back hungrier. When you stop feeding it it will turn on you.

I suspect that Sheehan’s tactics will continue until the Democrats deal with her. Exactly how the knee-capping will take place, we can only guess. Maybe she can simply be bought off. Or, suddenly the cameras around her will be turned off and she’ll be forced to fade away.

If Cindy Sheehan is reading (and she’s probably not), I’d advise her to be on her best behavior and to clean the skeletons out of her closet. If she continues to harrass the new Democrat leadership they are going to stop at nothing in order to silence and discredit her. Cindy can’t afford to be caught drinking, belching, or picking her nose. She also needs to have a ready response for any potential attack on her character if she has any hope of exposing the hypocrisy of the Democrat party.

I’m rooting for her (for a change). The left has created a monster and they need to feel its wrath. She can show the American public that the Democrats are not really against this war as much as they pretend to be. They’ve voted (unanimously in the senate) to increase funding, and some of them actually recognize the danger of failing our mission. They’ve used the war as a political tool to gain power and now they’re more concerned about what they’re going to do with that new power.
