Subject to Change

The company I work for is sponsoring a series on PBS: Edens Lost and Found. It’s supposed to start showing on various PBS stations tomorrow.

I’m having trouble figuring out when we’ll be able to see it in Milwaukee. It looks like two episodes will be on this month on the 7th and the 14th at 2am. They will be repeated at 5am on the same days. According to the schedule I saw, the complete series (four shows) won’t be shown until May.

The series is supposed to focus on revitalizing urban areas. It will show some technologies used to make four cities (Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia) more environmentally friendly and (I’m sure) habitable. The engineer in me likes watching this kind show to see what technology can (and can’t) do. I also enjoy seeing clever solutions to common problems.
