Odd Dream

January 14th, 2009-8:00 am by sub2change

I’ve mentioned once before that the world inside my head can be a strange and interesting place. I had a dream a few nights ago which proves my point. I’d like to describe it in detail because it was so vivid and odd, but I’m afraid of giving some sicko ideas. The dream involved a terrorist attack carried out without any weapons or explosives.

When I woke up I had a couple of thoughts:

  1. I must need to get more sleep.
  2. That could actually work. But, only a domestic crackpot would settle for something so bland.
  3. How can I blog this without sounding nuts or attracting unwanted attention?

Bow To Me!

November 29th, 2008-12:29 pm by sub2change

I’ve just spent a good part of the weekend recovering songs from an iPod after losing a hard drive. Thanks for writing crappy software, Apple!

I really ought to go into the iTunes recovery business. There’s probably tons of opportunity there.

Pink Alert!

November 1st, 2008-3:19 pm by sub2change

October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) is over, which means all the fun pink gizmos should be going on clearance soon! We’ve attended the past four Susan G. Komen events in Milwaukee, so I’ll be on the lookout for fun accessories.

The only place I managed to find pink coconut snowballs was in Ohio. What gives?

What’s The Point?

October 26th, 2008-11:44 am by sub2change

My grandmother’s car has a “valet key.” It can open the car and start it, but won’t open the trunk. One would assume that you can safely lock your valuables in the trunk and hand over the valet key to someone. The folding back seats can only be released from the trunk, as well.

When I went to fill up the tank I noticed that there’s a trunk release right at the driver’s feet. Key or not, the trunk will open. This was mildly embarrassing because I had once gone into the office unshowered to get my spare key, when I thought my clothes were locked in the trunk.

So, can someone explain to me the purpose of this second, partly useless key?

Yikes!

October 23rd, 2008-6:44 am by sub2change

Just got home from Ohio (for the last time!) and forgot that I turned the water heater off before we left. Oh, and I haven’t turned on the radiators, yet.

I’ll try to get back on the blogging after I swallow my testicles back into their proper place.

Prison Break Season Opener

So, they lasered off Michael Scofield’s tattoos.

Kelly pointed out that they must be sick of drawing them by now.

I, on the other hand, pointed out that the person responsible for continuity is now looking for a new job.

Liberal Blogger Advocates Violence

And I agree with him, so long as the bully’s got no gang connections. Then it’s a whole new ballgame.

I remember the time I saw a bully crack. It was a very liberating moment.
