We have the opportunity in November, to witness history in the making: the end of the reign of the first female Speaker of The House. I’m looking forward to this momentous occasion with great anticipation. I also hope to witness the transition power away from our first black President in two years.
I sincerely hope that the second female Speaker and black President are more effective than these clowns.

I may not have time to blog after the election results are in, so allow me to jump the gun.
Congratulations Scott Walker or Mark Neumann, but preferably Scott Walker, on winning the Republican primary for governor.
Going forward, please be careful to moderate your tone. Although you may be confident, avoid suggesting that you’re going to beat the snot out of Tom Barrett. The liberals could pick up on that as a personal attack against the mayor. Instead, tell the voters that you intend to emerge victorious and will offer your opponent a consoling pat on the back or high-five to let him know that there are no real losers as long as we try our best.
On another note: the word “hijack” is once again acceptable for common use.

In Folkbum’s world poor grammar disqualifies you from running for office, but stubborn reliance on a teleprompter and constant use of “um” and “ah” do not.
I’m not trying to call him a hypocrite, because more interesting words come to mind.

I’ve been wanting to say this and haven’t found the time.
As I understand it, the Republicans bought Sarah Palin some expensive new clothes for the campaign. Of course, the Democrats, still sore from the John Edwards haircut debate, are using this as an excuse to bash Palin’s frivolous spending.
The problem, you see, is that Palin clearly demonstrated her common man roots by not owning a fancy wardrobe in the first place. Now she’s seeking the VP spot and the party thinks she needs a better outfit to interview in.
What all of this tells me is that your teachers lied to you, boys and girls. Not everybody can grow up to be president or vice president. You’ve got to have the financial means to get there first, or nobody will take you seriously. This is a popularity contest and the prettiest face is often the winner.
This year, I sure HOPE that CHANGEs.

Clint played an April Fool’s joke on us all. He pretended to vote twice.
The reactions to his claims are nothing short of comical. Some people on the right took him to task for his alleged crime. More interestingly, some on the left side of the political spectrum were offended. Presumably, these are people who don’t believe in voter ID. These same people probably also scoff at idea that voter fraud is a major problem. Yet, they failed to see through the gag, demonstrating that deep down EVERYONE knows how easy it is to cheat in Wisconsin.

I had to check the date this morning, to make sure it wasn’t still April 1st. The voters in Wisconsin finally realized yesterday that voting for public office isn’t like voting for American Idol. There are consequences for promoting the retards. Across the board, good choices were made.
McGee will be running for dog catcher.
Tosa’s mayor will be working at the Blockbuster where McGee staged his nonviolent argument with the police.
Scott Walker will continue to log and strip mine the county parks.
The trial lawyers learned that money can’t always buy happiness.
Frankenstein was lynched by the torch carrying mob.
That faint “woohoo” you heard on the wind is me, partying like a rock star in Columbus.
