Does anyone know how much to water a young avocado tree?

Mine are always struggling to survive.

I wonder whose approval numbers are higher right now: Barack Obama or Osama Bin Laden.

In a city that’s not known for promoting fatherhood, here’s a dad who deserves some respect:

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a child being left on a school bus Tuesday.

The father noticed that his son hadn’t arrived home on time and called the child’s day care center. When there was no answer he drove over to investigate and found his son locked in a transport bus. He rescued the child through an open window.

Dad could have made poor assumptions here, or decided not to care, and things might have turned out differently. This dad deserves to be recogonized not only for doing the right thing, but also for showing restraint.

I would have busted every window on that bus, then smashed the headlights and slashed the tires just to be sure my point was made. I might even left my son’s dirty diaper on the driver’s seat for good measure.
